Our Purpose
We’re just a bunch of college age students (and one old guy) who are looking to share our thoughts on Christian issues, theology, life situations we have experienced, etc. We come from different backgrounds and are at different levels of understanding of what it means to be a Christian so the content will be different depending on the contributor.
Our Name
We discussed long and hard (a week) on a name that would represent us accurately and were unanimous in agreeing on “ReCalibration”! Actually to be honest we couldn’t really agree at all and at the last minute I through out this one and I think everybody said they liked it because they were worn down and really just wanted to get writing. =)
Ultimately we were looking for a name that represented our purpose and the name Recalibration does carry with the idea of making adjustments while measuring against a standard. All the contributors to this blog are followers of Jesus Christ and as such are trying to grow in our understanding of who He is and how our lives should be changed by Him and how we should relate to the world around us. This process allows us to make new discoveries in understanding while at the same time requiring our lives to be adjusted/calibrated and re-adjusted/re-calibrated often.
Then again, if you don’t like the name or think I’m stretching it to make it fit that’s okay. We’re more interested in the content than the name.
Our Desire
Is that you’ll read, think and then let us know what you’re thinking. No matter if you agree or disagree we’re interested.
